This is Vintage brooch by Giovanni featuring a seagull in flight. 
This brooch has a double wing for a 3 dimensional effect.  It measures 2  1/2.  Signed inside the wing. 
I think the brooch represents the book by Richard Bach written in 1970 about a seagull struggling for his place in the world.  "Jonathan Livingston Seagull". A very popular book in it's day. 
Very good condition with a good pinback. Even Solid Color.
